"Dances with Wolves" the first, and so far only episode I have watched of Boston Legal. As an ardent 2nd amendment supporter, I obviously was drawn to this episode. Fortunately I live I'm a state where carrying a gun openly or concealed is legal. Albeit with a permit, which I have.

There's also no limit to the number of guns one can have concealed on their person.

I also believe that the second amendment SHOULD be my carry permit. "The right of the PEOPLE to keep and BEAR arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED." Gun control nuts always tell you "scary" supposed stats on gun deaths, but in states that allow law abiding citizens to carry guns, violent crimes DECREASE.

Supposed "gun control" laws only penalize law abiding citizens. It does NOT stop the criminals from obtaining and carrying guns. Us law abiding citizens should be on a level playing field.

I take my right to carry a gun very seriously. And I hope to God I never have to use it in a self defense situation and take another's life. Believe it or not, that's how most of us gun carriers feel.

An open letter to Patriots.

I am writing to you, fellow liberty lovers, disheartened and well, quite saddened. I read the news everyday, news of people being told to remove their American flag from their property. Schools telling children to not wear shirts with the American flag on them. The director of the supposed “Homeland Security” praising a mayor of a major city in the U.S. for his “Big Brother” like video surveillance grid, the federal government suing a County Sheriff.

What happened to America? The land of the free and the home of the brave? We are not free any longer. We are watched, monitored, tracked, micro managed by the very government “We the People” elected to uphold the Constitution and protect our freedoms. The brave, the few and far between it seems, are doing their best while the majority of Americans are waiting to be told what to do by the talking head on their favorite Main Stream Media television news.

We are pacified with news stories of the “BP oil spill,” and the latest celebrity gossip or foible. “Reality” shows litter the airwaves on primetime television, when they are the farthest things from it.

Reality? Mexican drug cartels crossing our southern border illegally, killing Americans, threatening American law enforcement officials. Illegal immigrants are demanding equal protection under the law, the law that they are breaking to stay here.

Reality? A “president” of the United States who has yet to stop campaigning, who bows to foreign leaders, who can’t seem to stop apologizing around the world for something the U.S. supposedly did. A “president” and first “lady” that seem ashamed of the great Nation that they are supposed to represent.

Reality? The federal government taking over more and more of the private sector; the auto industry, the mortgage industry, the healthcare industry and so on.

Reality? American citizens are willing to sacrifice their liberties for convenience. The ridiculous measures and privacy invasion of airport “security.” The reactive airport “security.” Not to mention the violation of one’s fourth amendment rights. All of this protects us from nothing. Someone intent on causing harm on an airplane will find a way regardless of what “security” measures are in place.

Reality? You are no longer free. You are watched, tracked, monitored, listened to, searched. Is this paranoia? No! It’s all over the news! We are prisoners in our own country. If you don’t see that by now, you are blind.

Remember when you would see your friendly neighborhood police officer and he would greet you by name? I barely do. Now you have to wonder if they are going to beat you for “resisting arrest” or something else just as false and made up by the mob mentality of 2 or more “peace” officers. I personally had my foot intentionally broken in one such incident.

In the past year or so, I have seen things I thought I would never see in the United States. Military “non-lethal/less-than-lethal” weapons being used on American Civilians. Mobile “backscatter” x-ray vans that can search for whatever they want, without a warrant. Cameras EVERYWHERE. “Naked body scanners” at American airports and courthouses. “Pain Beams” being used in civilian prisons (something akin to being micro-waved). I’d rather be bruised that “cooked” on a molecular level.

Do you remember as a child or perhaps your own children, when they could go out and play in the neighborhood and you wouldn’t worry too much about them, they would be home for dinner, if not, you knew the numbers of the friends to call to get them to come home and go to bed early? The thought of a “school shooting” never even crossed your mind. When you wouldn’t even hear the word “ass” on TV? When the traditional family was something noteworthy and to be praised on sitcom television?

You wonder why children are having their own children at 12 years old? Perhaps because the moral erosion that has taken place over the last 15 or so years has hyper-sexualized everything? Do you remember?

Have you ever asked yourself why this is happening to the children of the United States now? I can tell you. We are no longer “allowed” to be parents. Some parents have just given up and let the TV raise their children. You spank your child and you could be charged with child abuse. This teaches the child no concept for consequences. The answer to that is, medicate them into submission! Send them on a “time out” to think about what they have done. Send them to their room with their computer, TV, Nintendo, cell phone, etc. Whatever it takes not to hurt their “fragile sense of self” and thereby teaching them that there are no real consequences. Don’t believe that? Look at the face of any child criminal killer when reality strikes that they are being charged as an adult and are in fact going to jail for a long time. No do over, no “second life,” no “time out.” Surprise!

What’s the point of all this? Why am I saying all this? To hopefully help you remember what used to be. As an American. As a parent. Too many have surrendered their liberties, their rights as parents to let government take care of them and their children. No hard work required. Cradle to grave. Look at the result. A mindless population of sheep and children of sheep. Tune into the TV and everything will be “ok” the government is looking out for you.

Wake up! Take your country back! Awaken from your slumber America! Take your children back! Stop playing this game! Enough is enough!

May God bless America once again. Be proud of the nation you live in! Don’t be ashamed to say “I’m an American! This is my flag and my land!” Don’t be afraid to say “These are my children and I will raise them! I will teach them right and wrong! I will instill morality! Not just ‘whatever feels good.’”

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is in your hands not the governments!

Your children’s future is your hands as parents, be parents again!

This can be America once again! Land of the free, home of the brave.

The only thing standing in your way is you. What will you do?

H1N1 And The Vaccine: Do YOU Know The Risks?

H1N1. It's the new designer disease. You cannot read a newspaper or watch the news without some discussion about it. But did you notice something strange when it comes to the reporting of H1N1? Sure, you see death numbers when it kills someone, you hear about vaccine shortages and of new supplies. You even hear of where to go to get the vaccine, with an eager media gently nudging you to get the vaccine inside your body as soon as possible.

So what is the strange part? First of all, you never hear much about the folks who REFUSE to have this vaccine injected into their bodies, unless you catch the odd story making fun of these folks. What the news refuses to tell you is that there has not been a single H1N1 death of a person who has refused it. That's right- every single vaccine refuser is still alive and well.

Not strange enough for you? Well, how about the fact that this little bugger just appeared on the scene like magic, and there was already vaccines by three major companies ready and waiting for it. Face it, that is pretty odd if you consider that the disease must be studied, potential vaccines must go through clinical trials, potential vaccines must be approved by the FDA, and then manufacturing has to be set up with testing done on that level- ALL before the first vaccine can hit the public. This is a process that usually takes YEARS, yet there it was, right behind the disease like they rode to the party in the same car.

Stranger still is the fact that various forms of government has tried to make the vaccination mandatory. It was tried with the military, the schools, in the private work sector. One has to ask themselves why the government wants this vaccination in us so badly.

And you have to consider the history of H1N1... or the lack of it. Other diseases are studied to death and most have many theories, if not facts, as to the origination of the disease. With H1N1, there is no detailed history. Just an animal nickname that no one has taken the effort to actually substantiate. Also consider that the media has been warning us against the second and third waves of this thing. How do they know?

As you can see, H1N1 is a tad on the suspicious side. If you ask me, it is clearly man-made. How else do you explain the vaccine arriving so quickly? The million dollar question is- did the government unleash it, or did the pharmaceutical companies set it loose? Or both? Ah, the stuff of conspiracy theories...

Regardless of what you think about the suspicions and history of H1N1, the fact is clear- it is here. It seems reasonable that one should rush right out and get the vaccination coursing through their bodies as soon as possible, right?

You might want to reconsider...

Now that I have provided you with doubt over the disease itself, I would like to give you some FACTS about the vaccination. If you can still volunteer to have this stuff injected into your body after reading this, you are a better person than I am.

There are only a handful of companies manufacturing the H1N1 vaccine. The four main companies are Sanofi Pasteur, MedImmune, CSL and Novartis. In case you didn't know it, these four companies are major players in the medical field. All four have an H1N1 vaccine- they are all different, and they are all DANGEROUS. Lets examine what the minds of these companies have chosen to put into their vaccines.

Sanofi Pasteur’s vaccine contains formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is known to be a carcinogen. Now, who in their right mind would consider putting a cancer-causing compound in any form of medicine? Another ingredient in their vaccination is Triton X-100. Despite it's cool name, Triton X-100 is considered to be a reproductive toxin. Another disturbing ingredient is thimerosal, which is mutagenic for mammalian somatic cells. In English, it has the ability to alter DNA. All of this is in one vaccine!

MedImmune’s vaccine contains monosodium glutamate (MSG). You know, the stuff that all the soups are trying to get rid of. This vaccine also includes dibasic potassium phosphate and monobasic potassium phosphate. These two compounds always come with the warning "may be harmful if swallowed or inhaled." I guess MedImmune knew it was going to be an injection, so they didn't need to heed the warning.

CSL decided that potassium chloride, calcium chloride, and sodium chloride would be a good set of ingredients for their vaccine. All three are considered mutagenic for mammalian somatic cells (that's triple the DNA altering substances of Sanofi Pasteur's vaccination).

By far, the most disturbing ingredient of all is that which is found in both CSL and Novartis’ vaccines- beta-propiolactone. It is a PROVEN carcinogen by OSHA and is toxic to kidneys, lungs, liver, and digestive system. It is also corrosive to skin and eyes on contact. Then of course, there is the monobasic sodium phosphate and sodium taurodeoxycholate to contend with. Both are considered “slightly hazardous” in cases of contact with skin, eyes, ingestion, or inhalation.

During the clinical trials conducted by the makers of said products, it was noted that the following reactions occurred: headache, nasal congestion, cough, rhinorrhea, pharyngolaryngeal pain, reactogenicity event, diarrhea, back pain, upper respiratory tract infection, viral infection, lower respiratory tract infection, myalgia, and muscle spasm. Once the products were released onto the market, the following unsolicited adverse events occurred: dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, transient thrombocytopenia, lymphadenopathy, anaphylactic shock, serum sickness, neuralgia, paresthesia, convulsions, encephalopathy, neuritis or neuropathy, transverse myelitis, Guillian-Barre syndrome, vasculitis with transient renal involvement, pruritis, uticaria, rash, influenza-like illness, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Epistaxis, and brachial neuritis.

Now I ask you, does this sound like a vaccine you should be putting in your body? The ingredients I have mentioned above have absolutely no proven reason to be in this vaccine. NONE. Yet they are included. One has to ask why? An even better question is why the FDA would approve such outlandish, dangerous and non-needed compounds in a vaccine.

I urge you to reconsider putting this inside your body. Parents, I beg you to consider these ingredients and side effects before putting this poison into your children! You only have one body- don't let anyone con you into poisoning it.

The history your kids learn is about to change- and not for the good!

What happened to America? What happened to patriotism? Have you noticed that there is not as many American flags flying about these days? Have you noticed that politicians all over America- even local politicians- are trying to kill America from the inside? They are doing it slowly, so you probably don't notice.

Take education, for instance. Did you know only two States are largely responsible for what is taught in the other forty eight? Those states are California and Texas. It may sound far-fetched, but it is most definitely the truth. The reason is simple, if you think about it; those two States are the largest buyers of textbooks. The folks who make textbooks are a business. They don't just produce whatever your school wants to have added- they mass produce textbooks. Naturally, as any other business, they lean towards what their biggest customers want and the rest are forced to go along. It's not personal, it is strictly business.

Of course we all know California is a screwed up State on many levels- financially, socially, politically and morally. They have been screwing up history books for years. Our saving grace has always been Texas. Texas has been a bastion for love of freedom and American values. Because they are so different than California, and because there are multiple companies producing textbooks, our schools have been able to choose the "Texas versions" over the "California versions." It has even been a plus the last few years, since California is so broke, they haven't purchased many new textbooks.

Well, BAD NEWS, folks. The Progressives have penetrated Texas, and the history books are about to be rewritten yet again. This time, it is going to be BAD. The Texas State Board of Education, comprised of only 15 people are about to vote on making some revisions to what will be included- or omitted- from their textbooks. Make no mistake about it- whatever new history books come out of Texas WILL filter out to the rest of the country within a few short years.

Are you sitting down? If not, you might want to, because I am about to let you in on the proposed changes. If you are a true American- regardless of your political alignment- you will be furious. History is history- you shouldn't change it, regardless of what happened. For your reading pleasure (gag):

* Probably the most alarming proposed changed is the removal of the word "American," and in it's place putting the words "global citizen." You read that right. I've been catching heat from the left about my views on global government, but even the left would have to admit that this looks fishy. We ARE Americans, for goodness sake! What is the purpose of this, if not to steal the pride of being an American from our children?

* Strike another one up for those who want to remove God from our culture- they are going to vote to remove all references to Christmas. I know there are those who think religion should be separated from education, but there ARE historical events associated with Christmas. For instance, do you remember WWII, when the Americans and the Germans in the trenches laid down their arms and celebrated Christmas TOGETHER, then resumed fighting after the festivities? This is an important lesson, because it teaches humanity above all, even in the face of combat. How about recent history? The underwear bomber chose Christmas as his day to attack, er, to TRY to attack. Let's not forget the fact that you cannot argue away the importance of God during the founding of this country- His name is all over our founding documents.

* Speaking of religion, while voting on removing Christmas, they will also be voting on including the Hindu holiday of Diwali. You know, because of the huge impact this holiday has made on our society. Note the sarcasm here.

* They will also be voting to remove references to Daniel Boone, General George Patton, and Nathan Hale. Can you imagine why they would want to do this? There must be some reason why they don't want our children to know that, throughout history, there are people who have risked their lives for the freedom of others. Could it be that if our children grow up without people like these to look back on, they will be less likely to rise up for freedom in their own time? That's the only reason I can think of- if you have a less ominous explanation, please share!

* How about removing Columbus Day from the textbooks? I'm not sure how far this one goes. They mention removing "Columbus Day," which is a holiday, but I could gather no insight as to if they were also considering removing the whole historical experience of Columbus. Either way, you have to wonder why.

* They are also considering the inclusion of the cultural impact of hip-hop music. This one I am OK with, as long as the cultural impact of rock and roll is still included. Like it or hate it, hip-hop has made a cultural impact on society almost on the same level that rock music did when it showed up on the scene.

* They are also considering replacing expansionism and free enterprise
with imperialism and capitalism. This one is tricky. When I was in school, I was taught all four of these subjects. They are talking about replacing the first pair with the second pair. Like it or not, we were an expansionist nation at one time. It is part of our history. Why would we hide it? What would be next? Hiding slavery?

Look, every country out there has some history they aren't proud of- just ask Germany. Hiding this history is one of the most dangerous things you can do. You MUST teach the bad with the good. This knowledge isn't dangerous for the fragile little minds of our children- it is a STRENGTHENING. If you know where you came from, you have a better chance of getting where you are going, and without repeating past mistakes.

Good or bad, history happened. You cannot change history, you can only lie about it and hide it. Denial of information is nothing short of being a form of mind control. We need to teach the TRUTH, no matter how painful. Even if history gets in the way of your modern agenda, which I'm guessing is the reasoning here, it must be taught. Period.

In my past writings, I have tried to wake everyone up to the things going on around them- things that will have or is having an impact on their lives. Most people choose to keep their heads in the sand and "go along to get along." Fine- let the government control your every breath. However, this one is impacting your children. It is taking knowledge away from them that will be useful in their futures- maybe even after we are dead and gone. They are our next leaders. What kind of history will they have to look back on to guide them?

By denying our children true and accurate history, we are dooming them to repeat it. Who knows- maybe that is the plan...

I Interview DEAD People on the 2nd Amendment

Today, with the help of modern computers, I was able to interview a few of our founding fathers on the subject of the Second Amendment. As a special guest, I also invited Abraham Lincoln to participate as well, since he seems to be a hero of gun haters, for some reason. After this reading this interview, hopefully you will have a better understanding that the most influential people this country has ever had the pleasure of knowing are AGAINST attacks on the Second Amendment! Enjoy...

JOSEPH TURNER: There is a debate in modern times as to who the Second Amendment pertains to. I ask you- is the right to bear arms a right of the people, or is it a right meant only for the government?

ROGER SHERMAN: Conceive it to be the privilege of every citizen, and one of his most essential rights, to bear arms, and to resist every attack upon his liberty or property, by whomsoever made. The particular states, like private citizens, have a right to be armed, and to defend, by force of arms, their rights, when invaded.

JOSEPH TURNER: But there are people within our federal government, and even within our society that thinks that personal gun ownership is a danger to everyone.

JOEL BARLOW: The danger (where there is any) from armed citizens, is only to the *government*, not to *society*; and as long as they have nothing to revenge in the government (which they cannot have while it is in their own hands) there are many advantages in their being accustomed to the use of arms, and no possible disadvantage.

JOSEPH TURNER: So, in your opinion, who all should own firearms?

ALEXANDER HAMILTON: The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.

JOSEPH TURNER: Surely you don't mean everyone, right? I mean, you don't think everyone in my neighborhood should be allowed to own guns, right? Maybe just a select few?

PATRICK HENRY: The great object is, that every man be armed. Every one who is able may have a gun.

JOSEPH TURNER: Some will argue that guns are only good for killing. They will say that there is no other reason to have a gun. What do you think of this?

THOMAS JEFFERSON: As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion to your walks.

JOSEPH TURNER: Another argument is concealed carry is a good idea or not. Some say that the right to carry a gun is a bad thing- that it promotes evil and lawlessness. What do you think?

GEORGE WASHINGTON: The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.

JOSEPH TURNER: So are you saying that carrying a gun on our persons would make us safer from evil-doers?

AN UN-NAMED WRITER OF THE DECLARATION OF THE CONTINENTAL CONGRESS: Men trained in arms from their infancy, and animated by the love of liberty, will afford neither a cheap or easy conquest.

JOSEPH TURNER: It seems that other countries are pushing us to get rid of private ownership of firearms. Some folks in our very own government agree with this. Instead of outright banning guns, we are faced with regulation after regulation, weakening the right. What do you think of this?

GEORGE MASON: When the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually.

JOSEPH TURNER: As far as firearms, what makes us different from other countries who would like to see us disarmed?

JAMES MADISON: The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.

JOSEPH TURNER: Do you think it is possible that the other countries and the anti-gunners in our own country might be right? Should we consider disarming the citizens?

JOSEPH STORY: One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms.

JOSEPH TURNER: So what should we do when the government tries to take our right to keep and bear arms? Most of them think we don't need guns for protection.

ALEXANDER HAMILTON: No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

JOSEPH TURNER: Are you saying we should stand up to the government? In what way do you mean?

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it.

JOSEPH TURNER: But it's the government! Don't they know best? Shouldn't we just trust them?

GEORGE WASHINGTON: Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.

JOSEPH TURNER: But the government tells us that their actions are for our own protection- are you saying we should be keeping an eye on them? What if they do try to fiddle with our rights and liberties?

PATRICK HENRY: Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.

JOSEPH TURNER: Don't you think this might make the government a little uneasy?

THOMAS JEFFERSON: What country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that his people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.

JOSEPH TURNER: Are you saying that armed citizens have a way of keeping the government in check? That it is a prevention of sorts to keep government from forcing unjust rule over us?

NOAH WEBSTER:Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed.

JOSEPH TURNER: So, if all else fails, and we cannot convince the government to back off our rights, are you saying- as a last resort- we should literally fight?

THOMAS JEFFERSON: The tree of liberty from time to time must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

JOSEPH TURNER: Well, the people in government constantly try to tell us that the Second Amendment applies to militias, not the people in general. Aren't militias nothing but a collection of the people?

RICHARD HENRY LEE, SENATOR IN 1788: A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves- and include all men capable of bearing arms.

JOSEPH TURNER: There are also those who think the Second Amendment no longer applies. Since we now have armed forces, they argue, we have no need for militias, thus no need for private citizens to own guns. What do you think?

PATRICK HENRY:Are we at last brought to such a humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our own defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in our own possession and under our own direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the *real* object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?

JOSEPH TURNER: It seems like the anti-gunners are backing off of the hunters a little bit, but they still don't think we should have the right to armed self defense. Do you think we have the right to use a gun in self defense?

JOHN ADAMS: To suppose arms in the hands of citizens, to be used at individual discretion, except in private self-defense, or by partial orders of towns, countries or districts of a state, is to demolish every constitution, and lay the laws prostrate, so that liberty can be enjoyed by no man; it is a dissolution of the government.

JOSEPH TURNER: So what do you think about all the federal anti-gun legislation? Is Congress actually allowed to make these laws? Are they allowed to regulate guns?

SAMUEL ADAMS: That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United states who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.

JOSEPH TURNER: Some lawmakers, and our current President, think it is a good idea to limit the number of guns you should buy. In fact, if you have too many guns, there is a good chance that you will be raided and labeled a terrorist or something. How many guns do you think we should have?

GEORGE WASHINGTON: A free people ought to have the right and advantage of being armed and disciplined but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which includes their own government.

JOSEPH TURNER: But if I own too many guns, or buy too much ammunition, should I be worried that the government might get involved?

THOMAS JEFFERSON: When the government fears the people there is liberty. When people fear the government there is tyranny.

JOSEPH TURNER: Now that I understand how important you feel about gun ownership without federal restrictions, what should we be telling the government when they twist the wording of the Constitution just to infringe on our rights?

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.

JOSEPH TURNER: Just exactly how important is the right to keep and bear arms anyway?

GEORGE WASHINGTON: Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself.

JOSEPH TURNER: Really? Why is that?

PATRICK HENRY: The Second Amendment protects all others.

JOSEPH TURNER: If you could ask everyone to remember one thing, what would it be?

PATRICK HENRY: We should not forget the spark which ignited the American revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonist.

Patriot Signals Distress for Country.

Cynthia Benton, CEO of Cantwell Power Solutions in Ft. Worth, Texas decided to fly the United States Flag upside down (a sign of immediate distress according to the US Flag Code) as a way of showing her fears over the direction the Country is going.

“I think that our country is in distress like the flag code says. We are headed down a path toward socialism. The debt that this president is running up is never to be paid back,” said Cynthia Benton to Fox 4 News in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Not everybody agrees with Cynthia's decision or the reasons behind that decision.

“Too many of us fought and died for that flag and it’s very offensive flying it upside down,” Barry Leonard said to Fox 4 News in Dallas /Ft. Worth.

Benton is not just blaming Obama and his administration.

“George Bush was not a conservative. I just think Obama is compounding what George Bush started and there’s just no reason for it,” Then added "I just think it will be a sign of solidarity amongst those of us who see that we need to be going in a different direction and take our country back," Cynthia Benton said to Fox 4 News in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Flying the Stars and Stripes upside down is not a small statement to make. Certainly not one to be taken lightly. In this case however, I do happen to agree with Cynthia's decision. I told her so in an e-mail. Her response:

"Hi, Josh. How great to hear from a fellow patriot!

The only comment I'd like to add for you is that I abhor the thought of offending our military with the upside down flag.

However, I think we need to engage our minds after we have our emotional response and realize the flag is only a SYMBOL.

It is the country and the people who are great. Is a symbol ever greater than that which it represents? I think not. Why not enlist our greatest symbol to help us in a time of dire need.

Please tell me why the United Nations flag is flying in front of the Hennepin COUNTY Government Center in downtown Minneapolis, MN! This area is "Government Plaza." The 2 buildings seen in the video are the Hennepin Co. Government Building and directly across the street is the Minneapolis City Hall. Notice: CITY hall, COUNTY center. Nothing federal, national, multi-national, etc. As far as I have been able to find out.

Scary fact: Most of the people that I talked to that WORK AT the Henn. Co Gov. center didn't even realize that flag was there until I asked.

The Continuing Death of Liberty

A couple weeks ago a man described by his friends as a “romantic” ignored the security line at the ironically named Newark “Liberty” Airport to give his girlfriend one last kiss before she left for a job in Los Angeles.

This came only a week or so after the alleged “underwear bomber” was smoking his underpants on Christmas Day over Detroit. Never mind the numerous inconsistencies in eyewitness reports in this incident, it has brought about the talk of yet even more ridiculous security at airports.

Does anybody even remember a mere 10 years ago you could walk your loved ones to the gate, kiss them goodbye, wave at them as they boarded the plane and sit there and watch the plane pull away? Land of the free?

The 4^th Amendment guarentees: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” Since shortly after 9/11, people have been voluntarily giving up their Constitutional rights to fly on an airplane.

Now it seems you almost have to pass a federal background check just to fly from one state to another in the United States. Now we “need” to add these full body scanners too? These evil machines that show you virtually naked. What’s that going to stop? Seemingly a very few seem to have a problem with this absolute violation of privacy and violation of the 4^th Amendment. After all it’s for our safety, right? If we had only had these body scanners in place it could have prevented the tragedy of 9/11. Hm, no. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Benjamin Franklin said: “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

As with silly gun control laws that are as equally effective as airport “security,” you cannot stop evil people from doing evil things. It’s not the tool it’s the person.

It’s time to bring the Constitution back into the laws of this nation! It’s time for people to start learning their God given rights protected by the Bill of Rights.

These full body scanners they want to put in airports here are in direct violation of the Constitution!

As a parent. As a Grandparent. Do you want your children walking through these things? Do you want your teenage daughter being looked at virtually naked by a TSA agent?

Have people in this country completely lost it? A movie and accompanying soundtrack called "By the People: For the People." That has to be the most laughable title to give to a movie about the election of Obama. Have people just completely lost touch with reality?

What's with Apple's obsession with Obama as well? Look at the video on Apple's site about their "Magic Mouse" and the headlines and images they show are Obama. Now iTunes is pushing this on the front page. This level of "worship" is completely unreal.

"For the People?"

What has Obama done "for the people?" Which people? Certainly not the American public. Let's take a look at just a few examples shall we?

Close Gitmo? Nope, still there.
End the war in Iraq? Nope, still there too.
Patriot Act? Re-signed.
War in Afghanistan? Sent 30,000 more troops.
Health care reform transparency on CSPAN? Nope, guess not after all.
Creating Jobs? Ha! For his "Czars" perhaps.
The Economy? Horrible!
Bail out Wall Street and "big business?" MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

The list goes on and on. So again I ask you, for what "people?"

The Nobel Peace Prize?! Laughable! FOR WHAT?! This is insane!

What has this man accomplished other than creating the biggest debt in our Nation's history? Turning America into something more reminiscent of Soviet Russia. Owning GM? Wake up and smell the Socialism!

I'm almost speechless. Somebody needs to tell Mr. Obama that transparency in government doesn't mean appearing on late night television every chance you get. Shameful.

Brand Obama. I'm not buyin' it.

If you want some comic relief, sign on to iTunes and look up this "Obamanation" and read through the reviews. Thankfully there are still some sane people out there, and the ones that comment positively on this joke of an album/movie. They are obviously completely brainwashed.

Name one positive thing Obama has done, accomplished for the people of this Country.

Obama, you gave yourself a "B+" in yet another television appearance. Well Mr. Obama, as an American Citizen, I give you an F-. I could care less what you think of yourself. "We the People" are your boss. Come 2012 at the latest, YOU'RE FIRED!

Attention Med School Dropouts and Un-Licensed Doctors!

You're time is almost here! That's right! With the administrations new healthcare plan, you will now have a job! Why you ask? WHY NOT!

When alcohol was "prohibited" it gave birth to a booming business of illegal alcohol manufacturing and transport, a black market...Organized crime. The government said "You can not have alcohol!" The American people said; "Wanna bet?"

It would seem that when anything is made illegal or prohibited, it creates a "black market" for these goods and/or services. Alcohol during Prohibition. Drugs. Guns. You name it!

Why am I comparing this to health care? Hmmmm.

If the availability of good health care or the costs of said health care become "prohibitive," people will look elsewhere to have their needs met, as they always have. All we have to do is look around us for the "efficiency" of socialized medicine. Canada, the UK, etc. Waiting lines, denial of treatment and God knows what else.

Alright, unlicensed doctors, here's where you come in! Didn't pass medical school? No problem! Had your license pulled for malparactice? No problem! Now you can service the desperate in need of treatment and care for...Name your price! Fantastic, yes?! Now you can move back up from South America and make money here, practicing black market medicine in the good ol' US of A!

Gun Control Advocate Shoots Intruder

What would you think if a long-time gun control advocate ended up shooting someone? Might the word “hypocrite” come to mind?

It did for me, and apparently for many others.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports North Carolina state senator R.C. Soles shot one of two intruders who attempted to break into his house.

But it gets even more interesting than the mere hypocrisy of a gun control activist shooting somebody.

The New York Times reports Soles won’t be seeking re-election, which is not a surprise since state prosecutors have said they plan to charge Soles because “he acted criminally when he shot a former law client.”

WWAY sheds additional light on this:

Thursday, a Columbus County grand jury found probable cause to seek an indictment against Soles for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
In late August, Soles shot 22-year-old Kyle Blackburn outside the Senator’s home in Tabor City.
Blackburn was a client of Soles’ law firm. Soles told police he shot Blackburn in self-defense, saying that Blackburn was trying to break into his home. Blackburn told us he was leaving the property when he was shot.
While what happens within a grand jury proceeding is secret, we can presume that ballistics evidence was part of what was reviewed yesterday, specifically whether the bullet wound indicated that Blackburn was facing the Senator or running away when he was shot.
We also know surveillance cameras were running at Senator Soles’ house at the time of the shooting.
The shooting itself wasn’t captured on camera, but what transpired before and after the shooting may have helped the jurors determine how the events played out.

Now, I don’t have a whole lot of sympathy for someone who advocates diminishing the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans. But when I learn that they consider themselves elite enough to own a weapon, any sympathy I might have had goes out the door.

And apparently this wasn’t even a clear-cut case of self-defense. The shooter knew the man who was shot, and a grand jury found sufficient evidence to charge the shooter for criminal activity.

This happened a few months ago, but I’m just now finding out about it from Marty Rickard. Better late than never, to find out about this kind of hypocrisy from a member of the gun control lobby.

Where is Our Freedom Going?

WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama Monday established a panel of state governors to collaborate with Washington on a variety of potential emergencies, the White House said.

Obama signed an executive order establishing a panel to be known as the Council of Governors, which will be made up of 10 state governors, to be selected by the president to serve two-year terms. Members will review matters involving the National Guard; homeland defense; civil support; and synchronization and integration of state and federal military activities in the United States, the White House said in a statement.

The statement said the White House would seek input from governors and governors' association in deciding which governors to appoint to the council, which will have no more than five governors from the same party.

The secretaries of defense and homeland security will also sit on the council, as will presidential assistants for homeland security and counterterrorism, intergovernmental affairs, the U.S. Northern Command commander, the commandant of the Coast Guard, and the chief of the National Guard Bureau.

The panel was set up under a provision of the Fiscal Year 2008 National Defense Authorization Act, the White House said.

Courage to Act!

Let me start of by wishing you all a happy new year, and hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season and a merry Christmas!

Yesterday I noticed on my way home from picking up my son from school, a gas station in the Twin Cities that was not only flying the "Stars & Stripes" but also a Gadsden Flag (and a POW/MIA flag). I had to double and triple take to make sure it was actually the brilliant "Don't Tread On Me" flag emblazoned with the coiled rattlesnake ready to strike.

This morning after dropping my son off at school, I decided to get a picture of this. After finally getting the wind to cooperate, I snapped the picture at left and proceeded inside to see if I could find the individual behind the flying of this flag.

Once inside I was greeted warmly by a man named Randy. I asked who was behind the flying of the Gadsden Flag and he said "I am." At this point I simply smiled and reached out my hand to shake his. He said "There are still a few of us left out here with some guts."

Yes Randy, there are! The fact is there are quite a bit more True Patriots out there than the MSM and the current administration want you to believe. So here's to you Randy, a True Patriot! Bravo for having the courage to act! Keep it up! I certainly support you!
